Location

The Finca-Hostería El Retiro is located in the ecuadorian coastline, in the town of Olón, at the heart of the "Ruta del Sol" (now part of the greater "Ruta del Spondylus")

The town of Olón is famous for its beautiful beach of approximately 8 km long. The area has a privileged climate thanks to its proximity to the Chongón-Colonche mountain range. The average temperature during the beach season (december-may) is 29 C and during the other half of the year is 22 C.

We are only an hour away from Puerto López (to the North) and the same distance from Salinas (to the South), which makes us the ideal place to stay and easily cover all of the "Ruta del Sol."
